How does Free Shipping Work? NOT all items ship for Free if you spend $49
Many products on our site do ship for free but NOT all products ship for free. As you can imagine a bag of soil that costs $12 can't ship for free. UPS and Fedex charge around $30 per bag thus we have the following rules to Free shipping:
Just because you have $49 in your cart doesn't mean that your order will ship for free.
Below is an example of an Item that does ship for free.
Below is an example of an Item that does NOT ship for free.
If an item is marked to ship for free you are not charged a shipping fee if the order over $49. If you ADD one item to your cart that does NOT ship for free then you are ONLY charged for the item that doesn't ship for free.
Since you bought two items that ship for free can we just add the ITEM that doesn't ship for free? Unfortunately, no, we can't. With our awesome prices, we work on slim margins and UPS and Fedex have increased their rates.
Since many of our customers do shop local with us in our brick and motor we choose to list the prices as low as we can. For some products we include a shipping fee in them and some we just can't but we keep the price down.
