How much does it cost to ship Promix or Soil?

As you can imagine the trucker shortage has caused crazy expenses in shipping fees.

Michigan Customers: If you live in Michigan then shipping soil isn't so expensive because GrowGreenMI.com has it own fleet of trucks. Delivery of soil starts at $50 and goes up depending on the weight and location. You do need to purchase a min of $500 of product.

GrowGreenMI.com has licensed CDL drivers and a fleet of commercial box trucks and semi trucks. Our trucks are not billboards they are discrete they do have Grow Green MI on the doors which is required per DOT and State of Michigan laws. All our drivers are super nice and here to service you and build that relationship up.

Outside of Michigan:

If you live outside of Michigan then you have to look at each type of soil each one has different amount per pallet.

Each pallet of soil weighs around 2000 lbs so if you are just looking for 1 Pallet it might cost you $350 to $500. If you order 17 pallet of soil then that is considered a FULL truck load and those fees can be $3000 - $5000. Typically a Full Truck Load (FTL) weighs around 44,000 lbs.

Customer Arrange Freight If you want to arrange your OWN freight company to come pick the items up from Grow Green we charge the following:

Trucks getting 1-10 pallets $200 load fee Trucks getting 10-17 pallet $400 load fee You also are required to pay with a WIRE or check, NO Credit cards.

Either way if you want us to quote soil prices it takes us about 3 days to quote

When will my order ship?

Grow Green has 42 awesome employees that work hard to provide for their families. We are not a corporate giant or a company traded on wall street but we work hard on every order. When you place an order you should expect that it ships with in 24-72 hours from the time the order is placed or less. We do NOT ship on the weekends so if you place an order on Friday night you should expect it to ship out Tuesday.

Please give us this time frame before you ask when your order will be shipped out.

How much does it cost to ship a Pallet of Soil. I do NOT live in michigan?

We get this question all the time because we stock so much soil and have the best prices on it.

If you do NOT live in Michigan and your wondering how much does it cost? Yes it is very expensive depending on your location it could cost $350 to $500 per pallet. So if you order 10 pallets you could be $3000-$5000 depending on your location.

It doesn't even make sense not to buy it from you because I can get it local. Yes many times shipping soil is just not profitable so we understand this.

Can you give me a better price on the freight? As you can imagine freight companies don't lower their prices so if you have other items on your order that are more profitable to us then we can consider lowering it.

Either way your order will be quoted by our freight team to get the most accurate freight quote with the price of fuel changing constantly.

When will I receive my order and how can I track it?

Accepted Answer

As soon as your order gets put into a box we generate a shipping label. Each night (M-F) these packages go to UPS and FEDEX. So typically once you receive your tracking number, it will not actually kick in until the next business day.

We try our best to get all orders out the door the next business day from when you placed your order.

At checkout you have the OPTION to have TEXT messages go to your phone with your tracking information.

CAN NOT MAKE A PURCHASE AVS GATEWAY ERROR?

If you are getting this error you need to contact your credit card company and make sure that your billing address matches EXACTLY what you entered for billing address at checkout:

It could be as simple as you typing 'Lane' and your credit card company has your billing address with 'Ln'
Punctuation can also be an issue. You should also verify this with your bank.
OR you might be using a gift card.  Gift cards are not accepted. 
If you call us we can't take this payment because of our FRAUD filters and we are sorry for this issue.

Is our web site broke? -No: Unfortunately GrowGreenmi.com has lost a lot of money on credit card fraud and we tighten the fraud filters.

What to do on your end: Yes we know you know where you live however the syntax of your data you entered at checkout doesn't match your bank. If ONE character is off then it will give you an AVS gateway error. If you contact your bank they will be able to give you the exact syntax.

Other payment options if your credit card doesn't work:

You can send us a Wire. Takes 1 day for order to ship after funds received.
You can create the order and we send you an ACH link from bill.com (secure website) you enter your routing and account number for your bank account funds are drawn from your account. Takes 5 days before order ship.
You can mail us a money order takes 5 days before your order ship.
